Overview

The Ahl Meerkatzen hotel is housed in a wonderfully restored, protected building dating from the year 1264. You can read the long history of the place in a display case in the foyer. In the communal spaces the emphasis is on historical ambiance, while the rooms are modern and complete with all the basic amenities. The staff is very friendly, and many of them speak English. The hotel's location right in the middle of the town  makes it a popular hotel to stay among tourists.
