Overview

The Westend-Theater is situated in the upper foyer of the Schauspielhauses.This theater was designed by the American architect Mark Beard. The Opera and the Yakult-Halle are also in the same building complex. The small hall is decorated in baroque style, and there are 62 seats. The name suggests London's flair for theater. Indeed, more modern plays, from Harold Pinter for example, are performed here rather than in the more traditionally oriented, Schauspielhaus.
