Overview

This museum is so chock-full of rodeo and cowboy history that upon exiting you will find yourself saying "yippie-ki-yay" for no good reason at all. It documents rodeo's 19th century genesis, when it was a cowboy's way of life, to the business and sport it is today. Multimedia presentations and display cases featuring trophies, gear and photos dominate the museum. The Hall of Champions showcases rodeo greats, announcers and clowns. The outside rodeo arena features live rodeo animals. An on-site gift shop shelves all sorts of books, collectibles and music. Admission charged, members free.

Open Hours

  • Wednesday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM

One of the most amazing places I have ever beenby Yahoo | 2009-11-28 02:06:06 |

The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame is really an amazing place to visit. So much history is bundled up in this wonderful building. It's full of accomplishments made by the men and women that do rodeo for a living and have beenn apart of peoples entertainment for years! It's great for everyone!

    it was more that i thoughtby Yahoo | 2006-05-10 17:54:48 |

i just read a review of the hall of fame that said it is only to be understood by those who know rodeo and know what it takes. well shove that cause i dont know the first thing about rodeo and thought it was pretty cool. i dont tie up calfs and i dont sit in a barrel but it was alright. i thought the price was okay since there is a lot to see! the building is huge!

You have to be a cowboy to understandby Yahoo | 2006-03-07 16:51:37 |

If you think it's a waste of time, you don't belong there. There's years of history in that building and only a true cowboy or corgirl could appreciate it. Not some city slicker who doesn't know the first thing about rodeo and what it takes.

    Absurd!!!! Total Waste for nothing!by Yahoo | 2005-12-11 04:15:08 |

We checked the Colorado Springs Guide Book for hours of operation before we went. We got there and the hours of operation were posted (same as in the guide book). However, the place was locked, as in closed up tight! No explanation, not even a note on the doors! After peeking in the doors and windows, we decided it probably saved us time and money for very poor entertainment!!! My advise: Enjoy yourself somewhere other than here!

price is way to highby Yahoo | 2005-07-03 04:54:39 |

the price it was just way way way to high

    Time better spent elsewhere-by Yahoo | 2005-05-10 23:27:38 |

You cannot possibly imagine a more boring place to visit on vacation. With all the beauty of the Rocky Mountains so close by, spending any more than 10 minute in this sanctuary of cowboy hats and meaningless awards is not worth the time or effort. Even if you actually this sort of cowboy stuff, you are better off looking at the grand vistas that Colorado Springs has to offer.
