Overview
A huge, western hand-painted mural by artist Gary James Carrigar greets guests at the entrance to this popular dance club. The decor is rustic western with lots of wooden Indians and sets of horns scattered throughout. Wall murals continue onto the surrounding walls that circle the huge hardwood dance floor. Three full-service bars and roaming cocktail waitresses eliminate lengthy drink delays. If you want to do a little dining along with your dancing, stop in on Sunday night until 9pm and sample the fajita buffet.Open Hours

I went there tonite, drove an hour, to find I needed a ticket to get in. I went to eat and returned to find other couples getting in with their ID's. Low and behold when I tried to get in again this very large black man decided to stop me with his hands saying I didn't have a ticket. I asked for the owner or manager and he refused to get either. Very arogant young man I would say. Using his brut force to display his authority. Not good for a dance night club. I would still like to speak with the owner or manager because this bully does not belong at the door. I am a counselor with youth and this type of individual displays what not to be. I have been going to Cowboys since 1998 and love the place. The concerts are awesome. Dance floor provides enough room for couples and line dancing without bumping into eachother. Bar service is great you want it they can make it! Not just another place for a beer.
I visited CS from DC in Sep 04. Cowboys was recommended by the local country music station and I had a great time. They have an oval dancefloor that was adequate for both couples amd line dancers. Service was good and the folks were friendly enough. I look forward to going again.
I have or had been going there since 1986. If your looking for a place that you can just blend in with or to be apart of, then Cowboy's is the place to be. Right now I'm serving overseas with my wife staying home in Fountain. The management has been graet to my wife and the bartenders are by far the best you can have. So saddle up and role on down to one of Colorado's finest establishments!
Bouncers and service is very rude, bordering on abusive by the manner in which they will literally grab and pull you to tell you of one of there lame rules u may be breaking (which by the way you are not notified of elsewhere) such as tucking in your shirt
My fiance and I had a wonderful evening. He and I are now taking the dance lessons on Sunday nights. He is the proud owner of a George Strait hat, shirt and even bought me Lochesse Boots b/c he had such a good time! I reccomend highly if you are just looking for a good time!
