Overview

This small pub is especially favoured by locals and artists, and is notable for its friendly and efficient staff. A fine collection of posters from times past decorates the red-painted walls. Live traditional music is played here every Tuesday and Sunday evening, otherwise you're at the mercy of the landlord's own, somewhat eclectic, collection! During the afternoon, Sin E shows the Racing Channel: why not relax, enjoy a nice pint of locally brewed stout, and check out the sport of kings? All this, and Internet access too!

got in at about 9 o'clock on Sunday, packed to the door with people laughing and joking live music just added to the atmosphere, greeted by a door man (bouncer) who made us feel like locals who had popped in 4 a drink with old friends the staff were amazing dealing with so many orders it was ridiculous. but the most impressive thing of all was one of the staff, who's party peace was remembering our round even after nearly 30 minutes n what seamed like a hundred other orders. all i can say is AMAZING!

I'm Marco, an italian guy in love with Ireland.. I've been in Cork several times, and as a musician I've experienced the magic of Sin-e sessions.. I remember with love Emma, Stella, Christopher (from Germany), Eileen, and all the fantastic musicians I've jammed with inthere.. And I remember the awesome gig I had with my band (the Blue Devils) upstairs, in march 2003. Does anybody remeber it? Anyway, great atmosphere, great groove, and the best music all over Cork is there..... THANK YOU GUYS! THANK YOU SIN-E!!!!
