Overview

This extremely popular restaurant and bar is usually crowded until closing time. It is right on Plaza Central, so it's always bustling with tourists and locals. The menu is all traditional Mexican dishes such as fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, guacamole, fish and steak. Live salsa music accompanies your meal and you can eat inside in the cozy dining room or out in the open-air patio. At Los Dorados, it's the Tequila list that is impressive -- over 120 varieties are available. Don't try them all in one night!

      I was in Cozumel for 2 weeks in 2006 and ate at Dorado de Villa 10+ times during that time. Juan was my favorite waiter and was extremely courteous and nice. The food was excellent and fairly priced. I recommend you eat here at least once during your stay!

      Last Year I went one week to Cozumel for diving. (By the way it was beautiful.) Normally, when I'm on holiday, I like to go to another restaurant every day to experience new things. This is the only restaurant ever I went back to 3 times. Do I need say more...Ask for Juan, the best waiter there is.

      Billy is the best waitor ever. He has been there since we started coming here back in 2002. Enchiladas Texcocanas is a must and the garlic butter is awesome. Watch out for the Strawberry Daquiris- they will knock you on your butt.
