Denver International Youth Hostel is your average low budget accommodation. Guests share bathrooms, kitchens, telephones and laundry facilities. The rooms are plain but relatively clean. The basement lounge provides a place for guests to read, play games or watch television. Couples and families may request private rooms. The neighborhood, four blocks east of the State Capitol, can be sketchy after dark. Guests are given keys to the front door for 24-hour access and are encouraged to leave valuables in the office safe.
