Overview

A Taste of Colorado stands proud as the end-of-summer celebration of community pride and spirit in the Denver region. Over 500,000 people make the four-day festival their Labor Day Weekend celebration and enjoy the offerings of over 50 regional food establishments, 250 marketplace artisans and vendors, seven entertainment stages, kids' activities, and educational programs promoting the diverse cultural and western heritage of the region — all for no admission fee. Held at Civic Center Park.

We went for the first time 2007 and thought it lacked over-all quality, from the huge amount of chain resturants to the "crafts" ( knock-off purses and chinese made goods) we purchased only Colorado made which was difficult but very pleasant ! We left feeling more like a trip to Mile High Flea Market with more food choices. Sorry!

We can't wait to go to the Taste Of Colorado in Downtown Denver. It's fun & entertaining with lots of activities. Bring a tote bag with you for all the "free" goodies you may receive as you walk around Civic Center Park. The tickets required to "taste" food & drink is a bit pricey, so bring bottles of water & a snack of your own, but overall a wonderful place to be on Labor Day weekend.
