Overview

Who was Adolph Coors? What was the Coors Company's original name and how did it survive the prohibition years? You will find all of this out and more when you take the guided tour through this legendary brewery. All ages are welcome. If you are of legal drinking age you can enjoy 21 ounces (half a liter) of beer tasting at the end of the tour; just make sure to bring proof of age. Tours last about 90 minutes and can be remembered through a souvenir from the Coors gift shop.

Very cool!by Yahoo | 2009-01-28 21:56:59 |

We stopped in Golden on our way to the airport during our ski trip. Very neat little town in the middle of the mountains. We had a hard time figuring out how to get to the tour for the Coors Brewing Co...drove around the entire plant! :o) Unfortunantly we didn't have time to take the tour, but we did go to the gift shop and got 3 free samples each (those of us who were over 21). They scan your id; which this is the 1st time that bar code has ever been used on mine. I would really like to go back and take the tour.

This Rocksby Yahoo | 2007-07-08 17:31:14 |

I loved this tour. We've been on the Bud tour in Ft. Collins, but I think the actual tour part was much better at Coors. Very informative and nice layout. Of course, my favorite part was at the end when you get to sample 3 beers of your choice. Just a word to the wise.... if you are not used to drinking 3 beers.... don't. You are at a higer altitude which makes the beer hit you faster then normal. I was a bit tipsy when we left. The only thing I wish was a bit different on this tour was the options for the testers. I didn't feel that there was a wide varity like there is at the Bud tour.

I was there for a youth leader conference. Man the place stank so bad. I hear it was from the barley. It was this gross smell that was unbearable.

Two Words...by Yahoo | 2005-08-31 02:34:06 |

Free Beer. The Molsen Coors Brewery tour was fantastic, especially if you are fond of the suds. Not only do you get a complete tour of the brewing, malting, and bottling facility, you get free beer. All for the low, low price of Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Who could possibly beat it? Tour guides are courteous, friendly and knowledgable. Ambiance is great. And the perks can't be beat!
