Their are many mosques in the world that non-Muslims can go into and see, and take pictures in and of, providing they are covered up and respect the customs of the mosque itself. This is a nice one, but their are many others.

I have to say it was worth it. The truth is that it is the only mosque that a non-muslim faith person can visit in the world. The presentation was very informative. You can ask any question that you have ever wanted to ask. Everyone is not only allowed to take pictures but are encouraged to do so. A must see.

I and my wheelchair we go long time in friendship You know some time long ago i was there i wanted perform prayers but i was not able because there were so many stairs and i prayed that they fix a ramp so i can get inside the mosque and pray like everybody is...by now this problem should be fixed and considered wheelchair worshipers. Dubai is doing very well with accessibilities with new projects but lining up old building to improve their accessibilities for people with special needs and elderly. how ever i did not go inside the most but i felt how holy the place was, i like the outside area where can one can perform ablution prior of prayers. i took few beautiful photos with nice clouds background...

The tour was great! The director of the Shaikh Mohammed Center gives tours 4 days a week for non-Muslims, but in a great way - explains everything, fun and the mosque is so beautiful. It's a special experience to be allowed to enter a mosque. Call the Center and go!
