Travel along the Hana highway and sneak in at the trailhead where you will be amazed at the natural surrounds. Trekking through a bamboo forest (no pandas here though - sorry!), you'll hear the interesting and soothing sounds the trees make as they wave in the wind. keep an eye out for tropical birds and other wildlife. While you travel, you'll learn about the local eccosystem as well as some Hawaiian folklore and history. A lot of fun!
