The trip continues by following a hot water pipe line to its source, the dormant volcano of Hengill and nearby Lake Thingvallavatn, Iceland's largest natural lake. The Super Jeep will make a stop on the side of the volcano, allowing visitors to view the surreal landscape dotted with steam vents and bore holes.
The Super Jeep will then drive along the River Sog with its hydropower plants to reach the hot spring village of Hveragerdi, from where it heads back to Reykjavik via the ancient lava plateau of Hellisheidi. On the way, if conditions allow, visitors will enjoy a last bumpy ride on the 'Thousand Waters Route', splashing through the river.
