Appealing to visitors of many tastes and wants, Mallorca’s entertainment options are limitless. Whether you’re a fine art enthusiast or a club hopper, Mallorca is certainly the place for you. The island’s nearly perfect weather and seaside hotspots make its entertainment scene one happening place.

Art:

Art admirers will be pleased with the acclaimed museums and galleries that line Mallorca's streets. Modern art lovers will enjoy the works displayed at The Museu d'Art Espanyol Contemporani. This museum is home to pieces by Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and many more recognized artists. Not far off, Es Baluard - Modern & Contemporary Art Museum exhibits artists including Miró, Tàpies, and Barceló. For those interested particularly in the Spanish painter, Joan Miró, Mallorca is a perfect place to get inspired. At The Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation, you can feel impassioned by his sketches, sculptures, canvas pieces, and art workshops. Lastly, The House Museum J. Torrens Lladó is home to a permanent collection of over 120 works by Señor Lladó. While the island's museums tend to focus on more contemporary art periods, there are museums with other interests as well.

For those that want to learn about the pirates that once roamed the Bay of Palma, be sure to check out Historic Military Museum of the Balearic Islands which is located in a castle from the 1600s. The Diocesan Museum, houses religious relics and even a slain reptile creature that was believed to be a dragon.

Between March and December, Mallorca hosts its annual Jazz Voyeur Festival. If you're a jazz fan, you'll appreciate the tunes by people like Herbie Hancock, Roberta Flack, and Chick Corea & Bela Fleck. Experience for yourself the sounds of Mallorca at this festival.

Nightclubs:

Mallorca’s nightlife attracts visitors from far and wide. The Plaza de Mallorca area is home to a variety of bars and clubs. For the hip and chic night owls, try Abraxas which features three uniquely themed rooms, two dance floors, and other clubbing paraphernalia like fully stocked bars. Work up a sweat in Tito's, a landmark of a nightclub that was once frequented by Marlene Dietrich and Ray Charles. After morning yoga sessions and a day at the pool, let your evening come to a close at Puro Beach which serves the finest drink concoctions.

For more humble hideouts, drop in The Cheers Bar for their game nights like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on Mambo Playa Music Bar's outside terrace with unrivaled views of the sunsets and get a little crazy to the DJ's house music beats.

Additionally, the Palma area of the Mallorca houses a variety of nightlife hotspots too. BCM Planet Dance is the ultimate "club hopper's" retreat.
