Bus:
Bus 17 departs from the airport every 20 minutes, and serves Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca. Trips take generally around 30 minutes. Coming from the city, Bus 17 leaves from Palma every 20 minutes. Bus 25 is a shuttle that operates non-stop between the airport and Palma every 30 minutes, and is about a 25-minute ride.
Taxi:
Several taxi companies operating from the airport depart from the taxi rank located outside Door D on the Arrivals floor. Taxis tend to be pretty expensive here, so it is advisable to get a rental car or take a bus into town.
Ferry:
Taking a ferry isn't the most efficient way to get to Palma, but it is beautiful, and can be a fun and unique way to see the island. Ferry company Balearia ( +34 902 160 180/ http://www.balearia.net ), provides daily service between Valencia and Palma de Mallorca. Each day, the ferry leaves Valencia at 10p, and Palma at 10a the following day. The service runs everyday except Saturday.
Train:
A highly recommended trip is to take the Soller Train ( +34 902 364 711/ http://www.sollernet.com/trendesoller/en2.html ), which connects Palma de Mallorca with the small town of Soller. It's a slow train that goes through the mountains, and gives beautiful views for an unforgettable trip.
