The Velvet is Rimini's summer rock club par excellence. A large park is home to the heir of the Slego (a club that was famous in Rimini history) as well as being a home from home for a hordes of faithful followers from around Italy. Brit pop, rock, acid jazz, hip hop, jungle groove and many other sorts of music can be enjoyed in what is a London 'Camden Town' sort of atmosphere. Once you park your car, probably in the middle of a field, yoùll probably wonder if you have somehow ended up at woodstock... but do not worry, it is just a first impression. Make sure you wear casual clothing and look out for the concert program.
