Back to Grote Markt / Grand Place home away from home the people are very warm and the city is very comfortable and welcoming. almost everything is within walking distance and compared to most western european cities things are reasonably priced
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 16 2007 Brussels and Beyond The Grote Market is truely full of small architectural details that are a joy to seek out and photograph... Good for watching people, testing the taste of the crispy pomme frites with mayonaise, and mussels in herbed wine broth nearby.
Reviewed by: lois from on Jul 27 2007 Can be a bit expensive It's worth a good walk around and even take in a drink or two at the local bars/restaurants, although you will pay more than the norm-however you are on holiday!!
Reviewed by: David from on May 13 2007 the place is great I like the place though it is almost crowded everyday, you can find chocolates which is the specialty of Belgian. Nothing to worry if you are hungry and thirsty there are restaurants around the place. And alot of interesting things to see.
