Built in 1584 as a summer residence for Cardenal Gaspar de Quiroga, this two star hotel overlooks the Imperial City of Toledo from Los Cigarrales. Among dense juniper, olive, and holm oak trees, visitors can enjoy country life while close to the city. The house was apparently visited regularly by El Greco and was the inspiration for some of his works. It's a perfect place to rest and relax, but you will need a car if you want to go to the town (taxis are available too). Prices vary according to room (with or without views)and a seven percent tax must be added.
