Amazing views
This hotel was fantastic. We had a room with an incredible view of Granada. It was within walking distance of the Alhambra! Very romantic. I would highly recommend it!

A rip off!
We were very excited about staying at the Alhambra Palace and had assumed it would be our splurge for the trip. It turned out we paid a high price for service which was condescending and for a room which was very nice, but which was on the bottom floor next to the "convention" center. Thus, the night there was a party in the center, the noise was in our room - until 2:30 a.m. The men's rest room backed up to our bedroom - and the young men were having a very good, loud time!

I loved the Palace
I loved the outdoor terrace at The Palace for drinks and snacks in the evening, as well as coffee in the morning. It overlooks the city with a view of the mountains. The rooms were lovely and large. The front desk speaks English which is helpful. We parked our car and took taxis while staying there. The driving can be intimidating in Granada and there is no where to park and the streets are very narrow. Watch out for the motos (scooters) They are everywhere and don't watch where they go. They even drive around traffic by bypassing on the sidewalks. The Palace was worth the price we paid.

Funky Town
The hotel looks like an arab mosque, I think so it would blend in with the near by Alhambra. The lobby is large and nice and offers drinks and light snacks. The rooms however are more motel than hotel. Thin towels and sheets and hard beds. TV's barely work, etc. With very limited choices in this gypsy inspired funky town, try the Parador San Francisco.
