Reviewed by: Spongebob from on Oct 01 2009 Definitely will stay here again I stayed at the Hotel Tivoli in Novemeber, 2006 and arrived (after driving six hours from Spain) to find that the company I booked my room through had only booked one room versus the two I required. The staff were very courteous and able to give me the same rate (cheap!) for both rooms. Throughout our stay (four single women) we were catered to by all staff concerning where to eat, what to do... etc... I have high standards when it comes to hotels and I can say that this hotel exceeded them. The rooms are adequately sized (like all hotels in Europe) and impeccable. You can walk to a lot of tourist destinations and the subway is closeby as well as shopping. I would highly recommend and stay here again and again! (And the bed was comfortable - where most beds in Europe are hard as a rock!)
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 11 2007 Stuffy, stuffy... Maybe it's just me, but Tivoli Lisboa seemed a bit stuffy for a carefree American traveler. It's expensive and full of itself; rooms are small. I don't feel we got the value we paid for.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 16 2006 there are much better hotels in lisboa... On the avenida da liberdade, in the heart of lisboa and not far from all the main attractions, this hotel is very convenient. If you come here for business, it is perfect, but it lacks of the charm that makes the portuguese capital so special.
