We ended our week in Adelaide on a high note with lunch at the Botanic Garden Restaurant. The interesting yet "unfussy" regional food was well-cooked and also surprisingly good value. While not as picturesque as the food of Bridgewater Mill, the meal was none-the-less memorable and we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. We also got a lot of entertainment from the surrounding conversation of Adelaide matrons!

i love botanic gardens in summer, the atmosphere is wonderful, and johns food is always fresh and unique, i love how the menu changes.
