Back to Fremont Street Experience First time on Fremont Street I came here for my 21st birthday with my parents. We went to fremont street to check it out and meet up with some other relatives. This was the only place I won money so therefore my favorite place. Me and my mom also took pole dance lessons at Pole Worx which was a blast.
Reviewed by: Katie from on Oct 17 2009 First Time in Vegas & Fremont Street Of the many highlights of Vegas, Fremont Street was one of the best. The light show & music was great. We loved the little shops on Fremont Street. Very good meal at the Bay CIty DIner in the Golden Gate Hotel. Fremont is a definite must see when in Vegas. * * * * *
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 16 2009 Thanks, But No Thanks-Couldn't Wait to Leave! This place was dirty. It's the only place I have ever been where there are hundreds of elderly folks hooked up to oxegyn tanks while smoking cigarettes (yikes!). And the "showgirls" looked like they worked the main strip about twenty years ago. The few hotels I entered smelled stale, the souvenier shops were dusty and one that I went into smelled like a toilet.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 15 2009 My Experience on Fremont Street I work for a major airline so I love to travel. Fremont Street in Las Vegas was exciting at night, lively during the day and just as much to see and enjoy as the Vegas Strip....just alot cheaper. The shows were fun and well done, food was plenty and very good. People were friendly and helpful at hotels and casinos, plenty of coupons and specials to help with cost of trip. Which honestly was one of the least expensive trips I have done in a long time. The only thing I can tell anyone is at night....stay on Fremont its well lit and safe for whole family. Enjoy your next trip to Vintage Vegas.

Reviewed by: nirmal4 from on Jul 29 2009 Going to Vegas for the 5th time I have been to Vegas four times now. Twice we stayed on the Strip and twice on Fremont Street. We love staying downtown! The walking is great... very short compared to walking between casinos on the Strip. It is so easy to hop on the Deuce and go to the Strip if you are wanting to see the big casinos. You get to sight-see at the same time! Last time we stayed at the Las Vegas Club. The rooms were ok... they were very cheap. We didn't stay in them much anyway... we were there to gamble, so we spent more time in the casinos. We are staying downtown again. We are trying the Fitz this time. I'm sure it will be a blast again.

It may be the old part of Vegas but it's still the best part of Vegas. We love it and wouldnt consider staying any where else but downtown.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 02 2009 LOVE DOWNTOWN Stayed at the Plaza. The rooms were dated but very clean. Loved the constant party on Fremont Street. Drinks and food were cheap. My husband and I have stayed at several different hotels on the Strip but decided to try Downtown. We will never stay anywhere but Downtown from now on. We were there in March and are going back in a few weeks!
