This building is in the city center, within Puerto Chico (Small Port), which used to be the heart of the fishing industry, though now reserved for recreational boats. Constructed in the 1920s in imitation of the floating yacht clubs in Bilbao, it is one of the most original buildings in Santander. Seen in silhouette, it looks like a large white boat at anchor. Views of the port and the bay are stunning. The club periodically organizes a wide variety of art exhibitions open to the public. Admission is free.
