Breathtakingly beautiful
We took a visit to Table Mountain two years ago and loved it! There was a lot of money involved, but the view at the top was gorgeous. Being experienced climbers, we climbed to the top on foot. The climb was not extremely difficult, but we had a rough time. All I need to say is it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Unbelievable View
You have never seen the color of blue until you see the oceans from the top to Table Mount. Plus during your visit you will likely see the Table Cloth , clouds covering the top of the Mount.

My trip to Table mountain
I like this mountain. From there, you get a good view of much of Cape Town. Unfortunately, there was an accident on the day I visited the place (Sunday Aug. 2, 2007) I advice everyone visiting not to take anything for granted, just be well prepared, in case you wanted a manual climb. I was told accidents were uncommon.

I loved it
This is a wonder place, the mountain took my breathe away. I was there for about a week and i got to see it everyday. Yet each time I saw it I had the same reaction.

Thinking about moving there...
When I first arrived in Cape Town, i thought i was in for an experience typical of all the things you see about African cities on the TV and in movies. One of my friends were getting married there to a guy who's from there, and i was prepared to rough it. But as i soon came to discover, this place is like any other city, if you know where to go and where not to go. Its a beautiful, clean city, with friendly people, and everything you could possibly ask for. Ive never seen so many things to do within one city, its a wonder this city does not get more publicity. Theres the penguins, table mountain, the 4th most beautiful beach in the world (as stated on a notice board at the beach), theres also baboons, whales, seals and sharks. Not to mention a visit to Robben island where the prison was which held Nelson Mandela for all those years. Then theres the university of cape town which is so beautiful nestled at the foot of devils peak, and am definately thinking of sending my kids there, it has one of the most amazing views. Even with all the scenary, there is still alot of shopping to be done, if thats what you're looking for. Theres alot of shopping centres, and you'll never say that you're in a third world country. The people are so friendly, and always willing to help. And i was shocked to notice that i was in fact not the only foreigner there, believe it or not, there were truckloads! or should i say busloads of tourists from all over the world. Im not even sure what the Cape Town accent sounded like since there were so many different accents. The diversity was amazing, and anyone who visits Cape Town is in for the time of their lives. They recently hosted the Picasso in Africa exhibition, which was fantastic. There is so much to do there im sure im going to forget to mention something. If you do end up going, make sure you go to the government gardens in adderley street and take some food for the squirrels, its the perfect place to relax on a bench in the sun feeding the squirrels that run up to you. Alot of celebrities have bought houses in South Africa, particularly Camps Bay, so make sure you check that out while you're there to find out why. We went on a wine tour, since all the best vinyards are there, as well as strawberry picking, where they give you a bucket and you pick your own strawberries. The night life is just as exuberant, with many a coffee shop and night market to liven things up. There are also many nightclubs along Long Street, and live music as well.
