We stay at the Westin every time we go to Ottawa, it has a great staff and great location, I am definately going to return for a fifth time.

We stayed at the Westin even though the couple who's wedding we were attending encouraged us to stay at the Fairmonth Chateau Laurier. I decided against it because the reviews online were not strong enough. However, I am a Starwood member and found the Westin Ottawa site to be very much to my taste. My main concern was that the Fairmont, while historic, was not modern enough, and was a little worn out. Reviewers online had complained of cleanliness, for example. The Westin execeeded our expectations. A standard view room was very lovely, the beds can't be beat. The groom came up to visit us and proclaimed the view from our room unbeatable. Don't bother with renting a car - even though it was cheap, we had no need for one. I loved Ottawa. So lovely. So lovely!

Central location to shops and Byward Market.Exlellent and courteous service.Rooms are nicely furnished and very confortable beds.I also enjoyed having drinks in the loung bar wich I found well appointed .

um i dont have any! Your hotel was just amazing, clean and everything...you cant find too many hotels that dont have dust on the counters good job to all of you and cant wait to go back!

the experience with the hotel was awesome. the experience with the travel site (good buy) horrendous...when i thought i might have to cancel because of the weather...NO cancellation could be arranged. period. the person on the good buy line was pleasant, but hard to understand...and i couldn't talk with a supervisor. so yes, the westin gets a 5 and i am glad we went...but good buy...what a scam to "make" you keep a reservation...and the price savings wasn't "real" either.
