Always a Great Stay!
Our fifth time back and we always have a great stay. The staff is truly amazing and what is so cool is that we see the same people working there year after year, besides meeting up with a lot of Omni repeaters as well. Everyone gives good service. The resort is clean and a good value for your money. We go all inclusive as we like to just stay put and relax. The beach size changes with the tides, so it is hit or miss about swimming, but we seem to get a few swim days in during our stay. But that seems to be the case in all of Cancun. The put on a new sunset bar over looking the lagoon which is nice to see the sunset. Rooms are comfortable and again, always well cleaned. Spa is priced right so we do go for our massages each visit. All in all, this is the safest bet for us in Cancun. We thought of trying the Riviera Maya, but too far out for us and we want to be at our resort quickly when we arrive. Thank you Omni for spoiling us, and keep up the good work staff. You make us want to come back!

Improvements Needed
It appears the economical times has also hurt the hotel industry. Being a member for 10 years my wife and I have notice a decline in the food offered on the menu, on vacation, for what the rooms, airline, and the all-inclusive cost per visit a buffet is not what expected from a 4/5 star hotel which is the direction it appears the hotel would like for it's guest to choose from. I also feel not enough detail is being given to the upkeep(modernization) to the rooms and public grounds(over crowed hot tub, beautiful pools but too cold to enjoy) to keep up with the surrounding competition with other hotels. When we arrived to our room(2252A) it took 4days just to get hot water to the bath tub after numerous phone calls. No dresser is available in this room, no package of coffee, plus the safe was not in operation until the maid assisted my wife. Need to do quality control inspection on rooms on a regular basis. It is too bad that the Omni, which has a devoted staff seem to be slipping do to possible miss-management at the top or the greed to sell time shares verses the goal of referrals from raving fans as it first was when we bought into our Home Away From Home! At this time we find it hard to recommend the Omni to others for that Wow rating and review.

Amazed by our stay!
Stayed in Omni in the mid of October (10/03-10/11) for our aniversary, but it felt like a honeymoon. Place is gorgeous. First night get a lagon view, which is really nice already, next morning after we asked for the ocean view, we got moved. Wow, suite was huge (2 rooms could sleep 6, nowever it was only 2 of us). The view - no words can describe... Loved every minut of our stay! My husband specially loved the balcony since he smokes.

Absolutely wonderful!
We just got back from Omni Hotel in Cancun and absolutely loved it! We chose to do the all-inclusive, and it was absolutely worth it. Without it, the food and alcohol are pretty expensive, and we definitely wouldn't have indulged as much as we did. The all-inclusive was very easy - we just had to give our room number every time we got anything, but no signing or anything was necessary. There weren't any limits on alcohol or food or anything - just that we could only get room service 3 times a day at most.

Disappointing!!!!
I recently stayed at this hotel and was so disappointed in the services I received. I had a problem with our room. Several in fact. As soon as we got into our hotel room we smelled a horible smell, which turned out to be ant spray that ended up giving me a severe headache. We complained but were not given the option to change our room. That night the red ants came out and we called again to which they offered to spray some more ant spray, which we did not want, of course. The third problem was that our toilet got backed up and we had to have maintenance come in to repair the toilet, then the lights were not working and maintenance came into our room one night for several hours to repair the electrical problem. These multitude of problems were not handled well by the hotel. We should have been offered a better room or another solution, but were not given any type of satisfaction after so many problems. I'm sure that you would not like to go through these many problems if you were on vacation. Not only did it take away from our relaxing time but I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get the issues resolved and being angry that they were not handled.

It was ok.
My family and six other ones were at your hotel reecently. We did not have the best time as some of our children got injured while swimming in the pool. There is a need for more activities for children specially teenagers. The restaurant by the beach has the best service. The people there are always polite, happy and willing to help and make of your stay the best one ever. Some people at the bar were not that nice. I have to say that there is this lady by the name of Consuelo, at the front desk if I remember right She was very nice the whole time and kept apologizing for all the inconvenience. You should have more people like her.

A REAL REVIEW
OK.THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE. I HAD BOOKED A TIMESHARE FOR $200 IN TOTAL FOR 5 DAYS. IT WAS WORTH THE MONEY. POOLS, ARE BUEATIFUL AND THE BEACH IS A LOVELY BABY BLUE COLOR. BUT YOU REALLY HAVE TO GET TO THE BEACH AROUND 6 AM IF YOU WANT BEACH CHAIR, THEY REALLY DO NOT HAVE MANY CHAIRS OUT THERE FOR GUESS. ALSO, THE FIRST ROOM THEY GAVE US WAS A LAGOON VEIW AND DOUBLE SIZE FULL BEDS AND WORST OF ALL THE ROOM SMELED LIKE MILDEW. BUT, ON THE POSITVE SIDE. I COMPLAINED ABOUT 2 HOURS AND THE NEXT DAY THEY CHANGE MY ROOM TO A OCEAN VIEW ROOM AND WAS MILDEW SMELL FREE. THEY HAVE THE TIMESHARE GUESS ON ONESIDE OF THE HOTEL AND GUESS WHO ARE OT THERE ON A PROMOTION ON THE NICE CLEAN SIDE. BUT OVERALL I WOULD GO BACK...HOTEL WAS WORTH THE MONEY.

Awesome all around
We spent a week in one of the villas with our three kids. The facility, food and service were excellent. The spa and gym need some work, but so do I. Truly an exceptional vacation and facility
