The best vacation in years
We took advantage of one of the Expedia deals. I could not have been happier with our experience. The staff was lovely. Even the housecleaning staff greeted us with a smile.

Beware
Beware! My husband and I had reservation for three nights (Luxury Suite) in Nov. 2009. When we went to check in they want to upgrade us to a luxury suite for an additional $45.00 per night. We said no, we already paid for a luxury king suite. The clerk went on to say she would put us in a room at Palazzo with a view. I told her as long as the price is the same. She needed our credit card information so we could change any meals or something we might buy at the shops in the hotel to our room and had me sign the credit card pad. When we went to check out there was additional $50.40 a night. We complain to the desk manager at the Palazzo, but were told that it’s a situation of “he said she said” and that we had sign an agreement. I never saw or sign any (agreement) paper. The manger was arrogant, we got the feeling he was calling us a liar. We feel that the clerk has a quote to fill or makes commissions on upgrades. The connecting hotels at the Venetian and Palazzo are beautiful but beware of being con.

Very nice!
We just stayed at the Venetian and I have to say that this is a beautiful hotel. I was very impressed with the shopping area and the rooms. The hotel employees were all very nice and helpful and we don't have any complaints except for one thing. There is a very strong frangrance that is pumped through the air system and for people who have allergies to perfurm or suffer from headaches from certain smells this hotel can be bothersom in that area. The actual guest suites don't have this smell but the lobby, casino, and other public areas definitely do.

Beautiful Digs
It is an amazingly beautiful and enormous hotel. The shoppes, restaraunts, night clubs, shows, activities and casino can keep you busy during your whole trip. You do not even have to leave the premises if you don't want to. Would recommend to all!

My favorite hotel
I stayed here for my bachelorette party and oh my word I love this hotel. The feel of Veniceis to die for. I even took pole dance lessons with my bridesmaids at Pole Worx. WOW that was hilarious. Best time I have had in Vegas in a long time.

Excellent Hotel - Great Place
We just stayed at the Venetian for 3 nights. Compared to the other hotels on the strip this is fantastic. The rooms are outstanding, quiet, reallly large, beds very comfortable, bathroom was fantastic, clean. Location for our room was amazing. Everything so close compared to some of the other hotels we have stayed at (New York, Bellegio). This is way above those hotels. Service was fine, housekeeping was excellent. This is the place to stay on the strip. Easy in/out access. Food; we ate the food court was very good, with good options and great prices and the Cafe was excellent - great food, great prices and amazing portions. Casino didn't smell like smoke - that was a pleasant surprise, the hotel and room smelled so good. This is the best, pay the extra money (cheaper than others in this category especially if a special rate is on) no hiddens fees or surcharges like some of the other hotels. Quoted 4 people, reserved, that it was we paid when arriving/checkout.

First time in Vegas
My husband and I stayed at the Venetian in September. It was our first trip to Vegas. The staff at the Venetian were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice....nice sized room and bathroom. We enjoyed the garden pool and hot tubs. We ate at the Bouchon Restaurant. The food was excellent (try the sourdough waffles) staff very friendly and helpful. Check-in to the hotel was only about 10 minutes, we used the express check-out to check out. Only thing we found was, it was confusing to find our way around the hotel. After 2-3 days we didn't get lost any more. Would we stay at the Venetian again...I think I would try a different hotel next time. Heather

Oooohhhh....that smell....
WOW, they call the smell they pump into this place "Seduction". It's some sort of jasmine and lavender. However, it should be called "Smother". This is by far the worst smelling casino. As far as the staff, they are nice, the hotel offer a lot and is located in the heart of the strip. However, they bleed you dry for anything and everything. Going to the pool? Better get there by 7 a.m. That is, if you want to actually feel and see the sun. Otherwise you will be sitting in the building shadow all day. Heading to their gym? Better have $40 per visit. All and all would not stay there again. The hotel was very clean as well. But if you are easily bothered by overpowering perfume smell, AVOID this hotel.
