On a nice day why do you need to go anywhere else?
Piedmont park is a wonderful way to relax during the day. From bicycling to skating, slow walking or just laying in the grass this park is a nice place to do it all. The surrounding neighborhoods are fun to walk around as well. Only problem here like any other popular area is to find parking.

I really enjoy going to this park it reminds me of central park. The ducks are just prettier it is smaller, and very pretty. the landscape is beautiful and it is walking distance to the botanical gardens. I go here to commune with nature, and reflex on how bless I am to reside in the A.

great for lovers
This park is great place to visit to take long walks with the one that you love! Don't forget screen on the green. In the summer you can watch old movies while laying out on the beautiful lawn! It's a beautiful well kept park.

Simply beautiful...
The park is well maintained, has lots of room for a variety of activities without feeling crowded or busy. Great city skyline views, a small, quiet lake and the sound of birds make this a great afternoon destination.

Its okay
It depends on the time of day and whats going on at the park. I guess its okay if you want to see Jack from Will and Grace everytime you turn you head.

ATL Piedmont Park
The atmosphere of this park gives off a romantic vibe, you can feel at peace. It's gay friendly in the downtown area of Atlanta. Just bring a blanket, a pinic basket, a good book, and someone special... it's worth it... and it doesn't cost a thing to enjoy the crisp clear air with your love one.
