There were two weddings at the hotel that weekend and we couldn't sleep until 3am. We were only told there would be a wedding when it was already too late to find somewhere else to sleep. Besides, the room was extremely hot and there wasn't either air conditioned or a mini bar to have a fresh drink. I was disappointed by the fact there was a shower in the bathroom and not a bath tub.

Food and service was first class as also the helpfulness of the staff. Liked the basket of fruit available at recption always plus the chocs and weather report to bedroom each evening.

I doubt that you would find a better location for your stay in Kilkenny than the Kilkenny River Court Inn. The room was very pleasant and cozy, staff attentive and the food was incredible.
