WE ONLY VISITED THIS FACILITY AFTER WE FOUND IT TO BE A RESCUE CENTRE RATHER THAN A RUN OF THE MILL GAME RESERVE. THE RESULT ONE OF THE MOST HEART WARMING EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. THE "RESIDENTS" ARE ALL LIONS WHICH ARE UNABLE TO BE RE-INTRODUCED TO THE WILD AND THEY ARE CARED FOR SUPERBLY. A GREAT CREDIT TO THE OWNERS AND I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH FOR ANYONE WANTING TO EXPERIENCE LIONS AT CLOSE QUARTERS

THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE PROVES HOW MUCH WE, AS THE DOMINANT CREATURE OF THIS WORLD, SHOULD USE OUR EVERY BONE TO PROTECT SUCH MAGNIFICENT ANIMALS
We popped in to see the Lions at the Drakenstein Lion Park...we were very impressed to see how well looked after the Lions were...everything was clean and well set out...The Lions were well covered and in wonderful condition! We met the Owner's wife whilst walking around and had a very interesting conversation. They have a passion for Animals and deeply care about the welfare of the Lions that they are caring for...I am really impressed with the Park and have utmost respect for the Organisation involved. I will definitely reccomend and promote their cause and will hopefully be able to spend a night in a Tent amongst the lions when I return to SA in Summer, also hope to encourage people to help Sponsor the Care of the Lions. Fantastic experience and made me still have faith in Mankind! Please support the Park. Lorraine in Cape Town.

WHAT A STUNNING PLACE. THESE PEOPLE REALY DO CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS AND IT IS GREAT TO SEE THAT AT LEAST ONE PLACE IN OUR COUNTRY IS PREPARED TO SAVE LIONS FROM THE DREADFULL CANNED HUNTING INDUSRTY. GREAT AND HELPFULL STAFF ALWAYS EAGER TO ANSWER QUESTIONS, KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!
