Out of all of the hotels that I have stayed at or visited in the Cambridge area, the Cambridge Garden Moat House is by far the nicest. It has an airy, fresh feel, (not stuffy and claustrophpbic), friendly staff, and very good restaurant (breakfast is great). The location is also great, because it is only a short walk from most of Cambridge's restaurants, colleges and shops. It is also situated on the bank of the River Cam, which pulls it slightly away from the busy town feeling of Cambridge. I always try to stay there when I am in Cambridge.

Service is always slow and terrible. Only reason I use it is for the nice postion it has on the river, its nice to sit on the patio area during the summer months and people watch as they go passed in their punts. Take a paper and be prepaired to wait and wait and wait!!!!!!
