The museum at Rothe House possesses a wide variety of objects of archaeological and historical interest. Most of these were either found in Kilkenny or donated by its people.Since the collection is huge it is difficult to put everything on display all it once. Therefore on a rotational basis, objects are put up for public viewing. These include Stone Axes, a Viking Sword etc. Entry fee is applicable.
