Reviewed by: Marsha from on May 26 2009 AWESOME!!! I have gone to the Georgia Aquarium and on a trip to Chattanooga, my last option was to go to another aquarium since I was dissapointed going to the Georgia Aquarium...since I had time available for another attraction, I decided to go. If I would of not gone, I would of definately regret it. I went with two of my friends, we are all over the age of 25 and we were very impressed. We all give it TWO THUMBS UP!!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 03 2009 One of my favorite places to visit. I have been visiting the Tennessee Aquarium for about 6 years now, and I just can't help but go back.
Reviewed by: SMRegister from on Feb 11 2009 Awesome place to go My husband and I took our 4 year old to the aquarium. We loved it. The Imax was awesome. My son was trying to reach out and grab the dolpins. I would gladly go again!

Me and my husband visit this aquarium in 1993(opening wekend) and it was exciting and fun to say the least and when had our two boys they each have visit different aquariums, but I think those Little black and white guys(the Penguins) were a sure fire winner in our family.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 16 2008 So much to do! We had been to the aquarium right after it opened in 1993 but now with the Ocean Journey as well it was so much better.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 15 2008 I could have stayed there all day!!!! Great for the whole family... We've been to several aquariums and this was by far the best (and least expensive!) I could not believe all the variety they had and how nice the staff were. We wish we could go back today... It's a must in Chattanooga!
Reviewed by: Nora G from on Apr 10 2008 Outstanding, This is the best designed aquarium i have seen, and the largest fresh water aquarium ever- one of two buildings, the second building is salt water. Loved the way the River Journey-fresh water started you out at the top of the building and the setting was the higher elevations of the Great Smoky Mtns, and then as you work your way down, you follow rivers to the Gulf, with other rivers around the world represented. Also loved the butterfly room where you walked through surrounded my many flying butterflies. The Penguins were awesome.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 21 2008 LOVE the penguins I love the new addition. It is bright and so well laid out. The butterfly room is wonderful and I LOVED the penguins. They are so personable. It is so incredibly relaxing. I would tell anyone wanting to go to the aquarium that you need to stop and sit and enjoy. Many people were rushing through and they missed a beautiful experience.
