Not a gardeners paradise
The museum artwork was lovely, but the gardens were a little disappointing. Although the landscape was pleasant, I wouldn't say it was a "garden". Very few things in bloom, and I was there in June.

Beautiful
My wife and I went on 5/31/2007 and loved it. We really loved the grounds at how well kept they are. The religious paintings were great as well. It was really nice.

Absolutely Beautiful
Our day at the Philbrook was a highlight of our trip to Tulsa. It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Be sure to check out the Native American and Western collections. Just the Native American blankets, with their intricate and beautiful stitching, are worth the whole trip. Be sure to lunch at the Philbrook. The fare is reasonably priced, and flavored just right. The turkey sandwich with avocado was perfection. Although the European collections do not seem to rise to the levels of the American collections, a trip to the Philbrook is a day very well spent.

Great Place
Philbrook has it all. It has great exhibits with standard and changing art galleries. The architecture of the home is beautiful. And the gardens are gorgeous and a wonderful place to relax or do homework.

art work found nowhere else, a real treat
The surrounding gardens are very beautiful, and the museum store had many unique items. The museum contained Morans, Bouguereau, etc. a very enjoyable relaxing place to visit.

This is one of Tulsa's hidden treasures! Every time I go to the Philbrook I learn something new and have a tremendous time. It's the perfect place to visit on a Saturday afternoon or even a Monday morning.

Unexpected gem
This is a great place to wander and lose yourself. The building and gardens are lovely (and uncrowded) and the collections, although not overwhelming, have some beautiful pieces.
