Back to Chattanooga Choo Choo Gardens Restaurant very disappointing We went there for lunch on a Wednesday. We waited over 30 minutes for very mediocre food. When we asked to talk to a manager, he offered no apology, and told us they had too many orders come in at the same time. There were very few full tables in the dining room, and the excuse was definitely insincere. Too much money for too much time spent wasting for not so great food.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 05 2009 Would never go again!!!! The lobby was very nice but nothing else was. It was very dirty, wallpaper coming off the walls, ants in the bathroom, stains on the carpets, furniture didn't all match, trash in the halls and the elevator, elevator hasn't been vaccuumed in a long time, the walls in the halls looked beat up. It was old and run down . It was in a bad area of town and the security at the hotel was a joke. We left and found hotels near the river which were cheaper and muuuuch nicer.

We all loved every min of it. Clean/fresh/very decor and great service. The breakfast buffet is great. What more could you ask for. We have stayed also before on the train and that is nice for once. There is so much to do on the grounds. And don't miss the new Choo Choo Shows it was wonderful. And if you have children you must catch A Day Out With Thomas (the train). It is a memory you will treasure for ever. And the hotel is so well located to everything. Just can't say enough good things about it.
