Back to OMNI Hotel @ CNN Center AVOID AVOID AVOID The worst customer service EVER!!! Rude desk help. Needed restaurant info after game at Phillips arena and they had no phone books and kept telling me to use room service. Rude, rude, rude and not willing to help with any services other than hotel. Over-priced restaurants, over-priced rooms. Location does not make up for poor service and way too expensive $2.50 for a canned soda
Reviewed by: OnTheRoad from on Mar 29 2009 We will be back! We stayed at the Omni 12 and 13 Feb 09. Our room was fantastic. We had an unbelieveable view of the city skyline. During our stay there was a cheerleader competition, so the hotel was flooded with teenagers. Dispite this, we had a very quiet two days.

Reviewed by: Misty from on Jul 04 2007 Good for conventions Stayed there for a convention. The hotel is a bit old and you can see that some of the maintenance has been deferred and needs a little bit of help. I stayed on the seventh floor close to the Park on the South Tower of the Hotel. Great Views however, tends to get a bit noisy if there is a band playing. It is within walking distance to the convention center and I found this to be a plus for me. Overall this hotel is fair, and would be suitable going to Atlanta for a convention, a short stay for business, free WI-FI which is a plus.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 01 2007 Would stay there again! This hotel was very nice. It was always clean, they had great service, and it is close to convention center. The rooms were very nice, & we actually had "turn down" service.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 01 2007 Nicest place I've ever been! My twin sister and I were in Atlanta for the Final Four basketball weekend. We could see from the website that this hotel was beautiful -- and it is! The three most important things about a hotel, I believe, are cleanliness/comfort, location, and the people who work there. All three were outstanding! In the five days we were there, we met the nicest people we have ever met anywhere! Each and every person with the Omni was as nice and helpful as they could be. They went out of their ways to meet and exceed our needs. This hotel is gorgeous and has everything! It is also right around the corner from the acquarium, Coke, Centennial Park, and in the same facility as CNN. The tour of CNN was great, too. We had such a good time that I am now planning for our family to go on vacation and stay at the Omni. This hotel is a destination in itself -- and is surrounded by great people and great places. The Georgia Dome is extraordinarily easy to get to and only takes about three minutes to walk there. I highly recommend this hotel. It is worth every penny!!!

The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
Reviewed by: travel qa from on Feb 01 2007 Location, location, location If you're going to a sporting event at the Phillips arena or Georgia Dome, the location can't be beat. It's a great feeling to know you don't have to leave early from a sporting event to beat the traffic.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 17 2006 Excellent downtown hotel I was in Atlanta for the Notre Dame/Georgia Tech game and spent just a single night at the Omni. It was a terrific experience! A high quality hotel in the heart of downtown. Right next to Olympic Park and the CNN Center. Friendly staff and very nice rooms. I would definitely recommend it and will look to stay there on a future visit to Atlanta. By the way, be sure to take the train from the airport...you can get off blocks from the hotel and save the cab fare!
