This relaxing century-old teakwood house sitting on the banks of the Ping River was constructed in 1892, serving initially as a family store and home until 1978 when it was turned into a restaurant. The first room is used as an art gallery, often spotlighting the work of local artists. Beyond this lies an attractive terraced garden restaurant. The specialty is northern Thai cuisine. Popular items include curries, noodles and rice dishes. A few vegetarian options are available, as are soft drinks, hot beverages and a full bar. Special menus and buffets featuring fine Thai fare can be arranged.
