Couldn't fault this.
The charming waitress (on her first night) had to check with other staff members to answer a couple of our questions about the menu. That's absolutely the worst thing I can find to comment on regarding a memorable meal at the Cafe Royal! The service was excellent - and I've worked as a waiter - the food was delicious and the room, of course, is lovely. We enjoyed oysters, smoked salmon, venison and lobster. All perfectly cooked and well presented. Their wine list is very decent. My partner loved her pudding. I settled for a malt whisky and an espresso. £100 for the two of us and it didn't hurt a bit. It was a treat!

You can't visit Scotland and not go here!
This place is amazing. Try all the types of oysters. Sit in the bar for a pint and then try the restaurant for dinner. It is a little exspensive, but worth every dime.
