Back to Admiral Fell Inn Ghostly Adventure I loved my stay at the Admiral Fell Inn. It had the charm of an historic hotel with a friendly staff I felt right at home. I love the ghost stories told by the staff. Sandy had us on edge listening to some. The place is fabulous. It was more then I expected. Got to try Bertha's for dinner as well very nice!

Reviewed by: Tootsabella from on Sep 23 2009 Courtyard to our hearts! We went for our anniversary to share a special night out away from the children. What a wonderful cozy time. The rooms were nice and comfy. The night staff was fabulous knowing we were staying ,because of our anniversary they pointed out the courtyard which was romantic! I would recommend this hotel!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 31 2009 Beware of Street Noise Beware of street noise esp. if you are on the Thames Street and Broadway side. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything! There are many bars that play all night and the patrons are super rowdy. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind because I would be partying too, but this was a family vacation and it was really hard to get my 5 yo son asleep with all that noise. It finally settled down around 3 am. The room needed updating (curtains shabby, furniture tattered). The breakfast buffet was pretty good for the price (free). They did have a nice shuttle with courteous drivers that took you back and forth to the inner harbor area. I had asked the front desk if they had another room on the opposite end of the building open for our second night but none were available. We chose to leave rather than have another sleepless night. They did reimburse us our money.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 25 2006 Would not recommend We picked this hotel as part of an Inner Harbor Romance package. The bed was lousy; a top sheet (not a fitted sheet) was used on the mattress and the bed smelled as if Admiral Fells himself slept there. The bed linens were very dingy. Dinner at True was okay (lamb chops were good), however the lobster bisque tasted like cooked flour and the rolls with dinner were overbaked and very hard/dry. At breakfast buffet, hotel guests were clearing off tables to be able to sit down and eat (waitstaff is very understaffed).
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 24 2006 The only thing going for it is the location A great disappointment. Tattered linens, NOISY rooms, the band in the bar down the street kept me awake for hours. If you HAVE to stay in Fells Point, go for it, but don't expect a great hotel experience.
