Artist Jill Walker runs this chain of gift and souvenir shops. Her work, which has found its way around the world, depicts typical village scenes and local characters with humor and accuracy. Although the stores have always heavily featured Jill's paintings and designs, they also incorporate many pieces from other island crafts people. Today there are eight shops in the Best of Barbados chain, but it still very much a family-run business. Over the years the stores have stayed true to the concept of selling only products made or designed in Barbados. This is certainly a good bet when looking for a keepsake from Barbados.
