I will be brief...the waitress was rude, we found a bug in one of our drinks and the manager on duty was completely rude about that too! They didn't even take it off of our bill. We also got food and it took forever and was cold. We will never go back again and I suggest you go to a better bar...there are many better options downtown.

Its a bit cold in the big chill, and it's not the temperature but the staff. A long drink menu and several frozen cocktails on tap provide a noisey background to catch up on old times with friends or try to make new ones. The only entertainment patrons receive is via the pricey jukebox in the corner. With a bar tender moving guests to make room for personal favorites, the big chill leaves guests moving on to a warmer bar.
This wonderful Bistro is a place to enjoy some of the most delicious food you can find outside your HOME. I have been going there for 9 years and the owner keeps a consistent quality of food and drink that keeps us coming back year after year. Why? ....Because she cares about the people that she serves....And she continues to provide an atmosphere that is pleasant and fun. Thank you for what the staff and everyone that works so hard to keep it all going so well! Hobojo

My favorite thing at The Big Chill was the bouncer!!! He is the GREATEST!!!! His name is Curtis and if you stop by tell him Tina Marie said hi!!!!

The Big Chill is one of my fav Chattanooga Hangs. It has the best Juke Box in town and the variety of drinks is always a crowd pleaser. Its on the smaller side, but you can't argue with locally owned and operated. The food is amazing and offered til 2AM...Wed is dollar Bottles and Sunday is Dollar Drafts..you'll find us there thru the week! Highly reccomended!

I drove all the way from NJ just for their delicious frozen drinks! The Big Chill is the coolest place in Chattanooga. Don't miss it if you're in town.

I have been to The Big Chill several times and I have say they have some of the best food around. The atmosphere is very friendly to ALL people. The Big Chill is a must to visit.
