Back to Chattanooga Choo Choo Holiday Inn Will Return I really did love this place the second time I went back because they had the softest pillows and beds that I had ever laid on. The rooms was really clean and service was real great. They have a great staff!! The food outlets were very good, especiall the Station House. I would go back in on my next trip.. I Highly recommend the hotel.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 22 2009 Where's the Southern Hospitality? The extra money that you pay for the charm is not worth it. DO NOT go to their restaurants as there is no hospitality. Housekeeping is a joke. They may make it or they may not. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty when we arrived.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 31 2009 Second Even Better We took a family vacation to Chattanooga in the spring and decided that my husband and myself would return again in the fall. We stayed at the Choo Choo both times, and we were extremely pleased both times. On this trip, we found the staff just as helpful and professional as before. The room very clean and comfortable. The main attractions to this hotel for us are the professional service, the ambiance, and the location. Location was even more important this time, as the free shuttle routes takes you all over downtown. We'll be back!!!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 29 2009 We Will Return I stayed at the Choo Choo on a business trip recently and we had a great experience. They upgraded our rooms to suites upon check in. The Station House restaurant was great and it has very nice indoor pool . The bell-men were very helpful and quick. The location was great, next to the free shuttle. I would definitely stay here again.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 12 2009 Very Nice Hotel It was an awesome hotel.Don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to because there is everything there on site (shopping, restaurants, pools). The shuttle downtown-- you don't have to worry about driving and finding parking place.. Fantastic beautiful place!!!! Will return.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 05 2009 Stay at a different hotel and visit the choo choo What a huge let down. I should have stayed at a different hotel and visited the choo choo. It was dirty and run down. I expected it to be old but this was not worth the extra money to stay here. The TV remote didn't work, the carpet was dirty, trash was left in the floor under the curtain from the previous stay, the hot tub water was green and foamy, and it was not in the best part of town. I would not be writing this review if I wasn't completely let down by this experience. If I had it to do over, I would stay at a different hotel and visit the choo choo to see the train.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 31 2009 Worth Every Penny I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in July 2009 and had a wonderful time. It was very comfortabe and relaxing. My son absolutely LOVED the pool and I spent most of my time a new hot tub. The room was the most spacious I have ever stayed in and were clean and comfortable. The service was excellent! There are a lot of little shops an several places to eat right on the property, so you really don't have to go anywhere if you don't want to. We took advantage of free shuttle buses to get around downtown so I didn't have to worry about my car or parking. We will definetly return in the future!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 25 2009 Never again This place is a dump, from the time you pull off the freeway you are greated by abandon buildings and hobos. Upon check in you make your way throught the maze of funky smells and unkept grounds. Then upon entering your room you are shocked at the mystery of mold and hair in the tub/shower. We were privleged enough to have a "skidmark" on our bed linen. If risking your familys life amist the extreamly gheto neigherbhood is what you life for then this is a must visit.
