it made me so emotional even though i don't know anyone who died. i went in winter and it was so gorgeos! any one would enjoy it! and i hope you enjoy it as much as me!

I LOVED this place because i see it every noring i was in Hiroshima as we drove down the rode wheather the tide was up or down this beautiful shrine stood there. It was so serine and pretty I deffinately recomend this to all Japan visitors! Happy trips!

This shrine is actually built on pilings in the sea, so that at high tide, the entire shrine is surrounded by water. A torri gate farther out is in the water even at low tide. Beautiful picture opportunities.
