Expensive, Third World Dirty, and Rude Pricy, Intertubes were popped and not replaced inspite of the high admission. Wave pool ran 5 minutes every 1 hour. Peeling paint, mold, no refund policy only gluttony admission costs, no upkeep, rude kids, arrogant attitudes. Better off spending 5 bucks at the YMCA. These people need a boycott, wakeup call, review by a news organization, or health dep't investigation. Would you recommend this to a friend? No
Why? / Why Not? Filthy, highway robbery which would have been OK if money was put back into the facility rather than lining some slumlords pocket. These creeps should lose their license to run a public fun center.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!! eye lyke b caaz itt iz ausum and reellee cuul.

Reviewed by: Robert from on Aug 10 2009 Overpriced, Dirty, and Poor Management On 8-6-09, I took my son and his friends to Big Splash which is an hour and 45 min drive one way. We live in Arkansas. For 1 adult and 5 kids under the age of 12, I paid $200 to get in. As we are floating in the lazy river, I notice all this trash in the river with me. QT cups, leaves, etc. The lifeguards working the slides and the tunnel are too busy worring about what they look like, and flirting with the opposite sex to do their job. When my son was exiting the big pink slide, he was pushed under water by the person behind him. The lifeguard at the bottom of the slides was too busy talking to friends to even notice my son having trouble trying to get up bc the person who went behind him was in a raft on top of my son's head. If the lifeguard on top of the slide was paying attention and timing the patrons on the slide, it could have easily been prevented. Even when fellow lifeguards are needing to get the attention of another lifeguard and using a whistle, they cant even manage to get the attention bc the lifeguards are too busy talking to others than to do their job. There is no visable security to run off the bad apples, The equipment is outdated. The wave pool will go for about 7 min and then shut off for about 15 minutes. For $25 bucks a person, it is definately not worth it.

Reviewed by: brooke from on Jul 07 2009 Fun every year As season pass holders we enjoy Big Splash. After reading many of the negative comments I decided to post mine. We buy our passes in Dec when they are almost giving them away. I also buy some passes for gifts. We come 2 to 3 times per week sometime more so I see "the good, the bad and the ugly" ie the good:: safe, fun, family atmosphere, the bad: buldings need updating, the ugly: older/overweight patrons in too tight/to skimpy swimwear but what can you do... kick em out! lol
Reviewed by: Greg from on Mar 15 2009 Vastly Disapointed I've lived in Tulsa 12 years and visited the park a handful of time. This year we went and was saddened at the dirty water in the lazy river. It doesn't take much to skim a net through it occasionally!! There was little shade because the pavillions have been taken down. No water fountain that I could find and the prices for food/drink is horrible. I will say that the hamburgers ar good. You can't even take in a sippie cup with juice for a toddler. Will never go back and have told friends.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 22 2008 Not a place I will return to... Heed my warning! Not worth the money! I had small children with me and we had a group of teens with foul mouths in the park which management did nothing about with several complaints... Please don't take your family here you will be subjecting them to adult only atmosphere. The slides are not worth the money, maybe if you got it for half the price and still didn't expect much. Disappointed
Reviewed by: Mom of Many from on Aug 15 2008 Definitely No Frills - Small and Dingy This park was something nice to do with the kids, but expect to be wowed. It was not as large or even as well kept as I had expected for a city like Tulsa. The lifeguards (teens/college types) were well attentive and on the spot as well as well supervised. I saw an older adult lifeguard walking around checking on the younger ones.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 25 2008 Big Splash promoted child theft! I had my baby girl 2 and my son 9 in the kiddie pool with me, my baby will not play in the other pools. My son was sitting in the water playing ball with the baby and a jerk life guard walks by and says "hey buddy you cant be in here you are too big." I said he is in here with me incase he didnt realize that, he said park rules say he is too tall to be in here. I told him he is not allowed to go around without me it is too dangerous and so he says well he cant be in here in the water. So he can sit in the chair and watch but cant play ball in the water with his sister. I think this park is not family friendly, if you want my kid running loose you better put a wrist band program in place and have your incompetant lifeguards follow it. They are incompetant because I was helping my baby slide and didnt make it to the other end to catch her and she was under water sruggling to get up and the life guard was right there and ddnt help her she is 2. She also slipped on the slimy concrete slope entering the pool and I was righr behind her and so was the lifeguard, he didnt even come to ask me if she was ok and she was screaming so loud everyone was looking at us! BAD BAD BAD
Reviewed by: Detra from on Jul 09 2008 awesome My family and I just moved here from Missori and we went straight to Big Splash. My 4 year old loves it. We bought a season ticket for us so we could go all summer. The only thing I dislike about the place is the prices of food and drinks and why we cant bring in our food and drinks.
