Situated in a tiny alleyway just around the corner from the tourist office at Neckarmünzplatz, this traditional brewery occupies a beautiful old building with a dramatic yellow and red facade. The interior is equally attractive, with wooden floorboards and long, rustic tables. The specialty of the house is home-brewed beer, perfect for washing down the hearty meat dishes (although there is also a good choice of vegetarian fare). All in all, this is a friendly and unhurried place. The beer is also available for take-out.
