Preserv’d Us A Nation
Jan 1st, 2009 to Dec 31st, 2009
This exhibit titled 'Preserv’d Us A Nation' tells visitors about the bravery and grit of ordinary local citizens and soldiers who fought for the country's defense when it was invaded by a foreign nation. This exhibit has artifacts from that era and also a 'drum', that was used by soldiers during the bombardment of Ft. McHenry. There is also a fragment of the Star-Spangled Banner flag.
