Went in ottawa for a catshow, hotel was under major repair but never told us at the reservation. room was OK but had stains on seeling, walls, and carpet! hallways was cover of plastic to hide all the electric work and the hole everywere. Was effraid to loose my cat over there! Very expensive and no pool, no nothing, just a room. People at front desk were rude.

The room I stayed in was fairly nice. However, the man at the front desk was rather rude to me when I checked in because I live in Ottawa and I am young, so he warned me that they don't allow parties. I had already explained to him that there were repairs going on at my apartment and so I couldn't stay there, he acted as if I owed him an explanation for why I was paying to stay at their hotel. I didn't appreciate the insinuation that I would disrespect their property or the other guests by having a party, just because I am a student.

The only problem was that my reservation was not received when I arrived, but the staff of the hotel was very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. That was the only problem I had there.

The hotel it self is very nice and clean. Room service is good and location very nice. The only downside we faced was the website that did our reservation turned out to be not so good and trustworthy. We had reserved a non-smoking Jr. Suite that was suppose to come with 2 double beds but when we got to the hotel we were informed that the only room available for us is a smoking room with 1 bed, so we were forced to take it. Luckly they were able to ad a extra bed and gave us free parking.
