Back to Shark Reef Waste of money This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on any form of entertainment. The only thing worth looking at is the very last tank ( there's probably just 10 tanks total no lie) my whole group was severely dissappointed. You see better aquariums at free attractions or a small zoo. Spend the ticket price for dinner at a restaurant with a fish tank because at least you will get dinner out of it. I've never written a review on any place I've been, but I was compelled to warn others of this dissappointment. We just left and I'm typing from my phone so I apologize for any misspellings. Anyways it's only worth five to seven bucks so unless you get free tickets don't bother wasting your money- you'll get a bigger thrill from putting all the money you wouldve spent on tickets on one hand at a card table- if you're not a gambler- buy souveniers or see another attraction instead. The people claiming "well.. It IS the desert so I guess it's hard to get an aquarium etc" it's no excuse- there is soooo much money spent on entertainment in this town it's unbelieveable. Also with the ticket prices for this attraction bieng so high, they can afford to add more tanks. I was soo excited to go and so beyond dissappointed with this place- I wish I wouldve read the reviews before we went and we couldve just used the money to visit a zoo aquarium instead. Please heed my advice- it's a waste of money that you and your family could use on something else.
Reviewed by: Ashlie from on Nov 21 2009 Good aqaurium There are better aquariums in Vegas that are free, but I still enjoyed it. You are suppose to spend money in Vegas. I guess it's better than loosing money in a casino and not getting anything from it. Something me and the girls did that was totaly worth the money was pole dance lessons at Pole Worx. It was $20 and an awesome time.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! User from on Apr 22 2009 Wouldn't go again The shark reef itself is cool, but the price tag is not worth what you get. You walk around looking at a bunch of other fish then all the sharks are at the end. Which is really the only cool part.
Reviewed by: Andrea from on Apr 21 2009 bring you money it was kinda spendy but i thought it was pretty cool. they give you little cell phone things that you listen to as you walk around so you can learn more about what you are looking at. its cool that way you can go at your own pace. the sting rays that you can pet are super cool.
Reviewed by: Julie from on Mar 23 2009 for $16.95.... it wasnt that worth it i think if you wanna spend that amount of money to see fishes, you're better off going to aquarium places (eg. Downtown Aquarium) cause you'll spend just about the same amount of money and get to see more fishes and other animals.
Reviewed by: Linda from on Feb 20 2009 Must See Ok, so it's not the LARGEST shark reef display in the world, but considering it is in the middle of the desert in an area geared toward gambling adults....this place is a welcome relief to both kids and adults. I have been there twice- once with my 13 yr old and just recently with my hubby. You get a hand held device with your entry fee that plays recorded information for each tank as you wander through the exhibit. The jelly fish are amazing and you can touch the stingrays. There are two walk though glass tunnels that allow the fish, turtles etc to swim over, under and around you. I really like this place and highly recommend it.
