Reviewed by: ประเวศน์ from on Aug 07 2009 A Terrible Thai Restaurant at the Hotel During my stay at Four Seasons Chiang Mai just last weekend, my friend and I had two meals at the Thai Restaurant. The first time, one of the dishes we ordered, a Duck Curry, was very salty. The second time, one of the dishes we ordered, a Beef Curry, was even saltier. I had to ask to have it re-made; however, I believe it was basically just watered down and brought back to us. The soup base was a tad less salty, but the meat was just as salty as before... Both dishes are considered the very basic Thai dishes, nothing fancy, but the quality was just way under par... Also, one of the dishes during our second visit to the restaurant, a "Famous Thai noodle (fried style)..." was also very salty... I've been in many Thai restaurants before; yes, they may be spicy at times, but certainly not un-eatable! What a disappointment... from a 5-star hotel and restaurant... and with a second chance given to the Chef...
