Back to Cha Cha Coconuts Love It My husband and I go alot on Saturday nights and enjoy the wings, drinks, and music on the outside patio. It has a relaxed atmosphere and we usually catch a nice night time breeze while we enjoy dinner and the show. We later walk the balcony area and view the water and the sights when we want to get away from the music. Always an enjoyable night.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 21 2009 Loved It!! I went with my husband and my 2 nephews and it was great! Beautiful view, friendly service and great food - the fish tacos were amazing. It is a very family-friendly place and we would definately return. The live music was icing on the cake!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 14 2008 Never Again- Dissapointing What a huge dissapointment. The service was horrible. Food did not come as ordered and server was the worst I have ever experianced. They comped a portion of our bill but it didn't make up for the dissapointment of our out-of-state family and friends who were looking forward to a good meal with a great view. The view delivered but the restaurant did not. My advice.. Go for the view and a few drinks, then head across the street to Baywalk for a meal. A huge dissapointment !!
Reviewed by: Michael from on Aug 07 2007 Nice play with a sea breeze we live close to the pier but just recently started going to cha cha's, The food is good, the live music is a nice touch. (we have a fav (kasondra rose).. The drinks are kinda high and the service is slow.. however when your relaxing on top of the pier, sea breeze and music flowing.. It didn't bother us much and we have been there the last several weekends in a row.. Nice view of the water to relax and eat..
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 03 2007 BAD SERVICE The food wasn't amazing, the service was horrible. You have to seat yourself, the atmosphere was bland and the service was slow and wasn't pleasant. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 02 2007 All for Show! If you're looking for a place with great food, good quality drinks, and relaxing atmosphere Cha Cha Coconuts is a great place. The drawback is the price. This good entertainment designed for the average joe has a price tag meant for the elite. I would recommend this for buisness affairs or quick lunches but not for a night on the town or a friendly reunion.
Reviewed by: al l from on Sep 26 2006 "Good Eats" Cha Cha has the best seafood this side of St. Petersburg!!!! The service was excellent!! It has become our little home away from home. They really bring the taste of the Island alive!! Can't wait to get back!!
Reviewed by: kristina from on Jun 18 2006 Be Warned While the food was great the restaurant had a policy of adding an automatic 18% gratuity for my party of 8. With that, we felt that was enough of a tip especially since the service was just ok. Came home and three days later discovered that they helped themselves to a 25$ additional "gratuity"....so be careful!!!
Reviewed by: Samantha L from on Feb 22 2006 Wish we would have found it sooner! Food was excellent, not too expensive, service was great and would could go as a family! Best food we've had in the St. Petersburg area!
