Back to Don CeSar Beach Resort & Spa WOW vacation Great location-right on the beach, pools, service and rooms. But the food prices will bankrupt you-breakfast for four (2 orders of pancakes with bacon and 2 orders of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast) = approx. $113 or about $25 at a regular restaurant so eat out not in and all else was great.

So No complaints there. The bathrooms are small but remodeled and nice.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 24 2008 The Don CeSar; It makes st petes beach! The Don CeSar was the highlight of my summer. when i got there the service was so nice and helpfull. they guided us to our rooms so we didnt have to search for it. they told us to just call to get extra pillows, another blowdryer, a curling iron, and many more lovely things with no cost! also the pool staff were very friendly. there was water arobics every morning. i loved it. also a workout room that has 24 hour service! it was the most remarkable resort ive stayed at. also the pool was open for 24 hours. I met families from all differnt countries. People from spain, england and italy chose to come to the Don CeSar! The shopping mall on the lower levle was so cute and nice! i loved it. The Don CeSar brought me close to another family i met down at the pool. and i miss them so dearly. so next time you decide to go to florida, think the Don CeSar, the most luxorious resort on the coast.

When you first arrive to the Don CeSar, also known as the Pink Palace, you see a beautiful structure. The building looks like a piece of art. When you got into the hotel, everybody greeted you with joy and with a smile on their face. I knew this was going to be an excellent trip from the beggining.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 18 2007 Not recommended My boyfriend and I stayed at The Don Cesar a couple of days for the 4th of July, the staff was very friendly the Resort was nice but, we were eaten up by bed bugs it was sooo gross also, the room we stayed in was very small and for the price we paid I was very dissappointed.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 05 2007 A good experience We stayed for two nights mid-week at the end of June 2007. Our family was surprised to find construction going on--no warning was given when making the reservations. The Don is building onto the wing on the south side. We loved our stay, but were disappointed in the noise during the day. The carpets in the hallway were in good shape, except that they needed to be stretched and pulled together at some of the seams. Mostly, it is well kept up and pretty. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and smelled great. We tried the ice cream shop, the breakfast place, the shops, and the beauty salon. Overall, we loved it and will return, but we will ask next time about construction.
